NEW DELHI: Anna University Chennai has declared the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2024) result for admission into MBA, MCA programmes and Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA PG) for ME, MTech, MArch and MPlan admission. TANCET score card 2024 for the qualified candidates will be made available from April 3 to May 3. To get a duplicate TANCET score card, candidates will have to submit a written request addressed to “The Secretary (TANCET), Anna University, Chennai – 600 025” and make a payment of Rs 300 in the form of a demand draft.
Candidates were also allowed to make changes in initials in name, spelling in name, date of birth, gender, community, and nativity.
As per the marking scheme, 1/4th marks have been reduced by every wrong answer and multiple shading.
Admission to the courses will be offered at the participating universities - Anna University’s university colleges of engineering, Annamalai University, government and government-aided engineering colleges, government arts and science colleges, self-financing institutions and other universities under the State Act in Tamil Nadu.
The participating universities will now announce the TANCET cut-off for each category based on the number of candidates, difficulty level, cut-off trends and other factors.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to check and download TANCET results 2024.
- Visit the TANCET official website, tancet.annauniv.edu.
- Click on the TANCET results 2024 download link on the homepage.
- Key in the registration number, password/date of birth.
- TANCET results will be displayed on the screen.
- Crosscheck the results and download for future reference.
