Taruna Vasu appointed Pearl Academy Jaipur Campus Director

NEW DELHI, MARCH 13: Pearl Academy has appointed noted fashion academic Taruna Vasu as Campus Director of its Jaipur branch. With nearly 18 years’ teaching experience, Taruna Vasu has been associated with Pearl Academy since 2006. She joined as Course Coordinator, a first step towards playing a role in academic management. Before this appointment, she was Course Leader of the fashion design programme.
In 2012 Taruna co-founded Naata Design Studio as a fashion brand of ethnic wear for women, children and men, creating garments for City Palace Museum, Jaipur, and Fabindia.
She was also a member of Board of Studies (BOS) for International College for Girls for two consecutive years. Taruna has even been the guest faculty at prestigious design schools such as IIGJ, IICD, ICG and Arch Academy. She has done her PGCHE (Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education from NTU, UK, 2009) and is an Alumni of NIFT, Gandhinagar. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in Fashion Technology.
