TN 12th result 2021 announced: 100% students declared pass; Girls outperform boys

Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2021 was announced today. A total of 8,16,473 students passed the Class 12 exam.

Download NowNEW DELHI: Tamil Nadu school education minister Anbil Mahesh today announced the TN Class 12 result during a press conference. The result has been announced at the board’s official website tnresults.nic.in. Students can check their results by logging in using their registration number and date of birth on the official website or the other sites provided by the board.

The TN 12th result 2021 has been announced for a total of 8,18,129 registered candidates. As per the statistics, the girls in Tamil Nadu state board exam outperformed boys. A total of 4,35, 973 girls passed the exam, while the number of boys who qualified Class 10 exam stands at 3,80,500.

This year, no student secured full marks in the Tamil Nadu Class 12 exam.
Considering the performances of the students, 39,679 candidates scored marks between 551-600. 8909 candidates were from the commerce stream, 30,600 were from science and 35 students were from arts stream.
A total of 1,67,133 students secured marks between 501- 550 while 2,22, 522 students secured marks between 451- 500.

About TN 12th result 2021
This year, TN Class 12 exams were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, the evaluation for the Class 12 board exam in Tamil Nadu was done by giving 50% weightage to Class 10 marks, 20% weightage to Class 11 and 30% to Class 12 practical and internal assessments.
