NEW DELHI: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has issued the provisional answer key of Combine Civil Service Exam 2 in Group 2 and 2A services. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment examination will be able to download the TNPSC group 2 provisional answer key through the official website at tnpsc.gov.in.
The TNPSC group 2 exam was conducted on September 14 at various exam centres across the state. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the official answers of this test.
The TNPSC group 2 answer key links are available for GS and General Tamil, General English. Candidates are allowed to raise objections against the provisional answer key till September 30, 2024, until 5:45 pm.
TNPSC group 2 exam 2024 selection process
The TNPSC Group 2 and 2A selection process consists of three stages:

Preliminary Examination : This is a qualifying exam. It consists of 200 objective questions, including General Studies, Aptitude and Mental Ability, and General Tamil/General English. It carries a total of 300 marks, with a minimum qualifying score of 90 marks.

Mains Examination : Candidates who clear the prelims proceed to the mains. This is a descriptive test, divided into two papers, focusing on General Studies and an Essay.

Interview (or Non-Interview Post) : For interview posts, candidates who qualify in the mains undergo an interview round for 40 marks.
TNPSC Group 2 Exam 2024: Marking scheme:
- Prelims : Each correct answer awards 1.5 marks, and there is no negative marking.
- Mains : The essay and descriptive answers are evaluated for a total of 300 marks.
