Download NowThe Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHSE) has commenced the Telangana Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET or TGECET 2025) spot round registration today. The last date to register is tomorrow, July 25. The spot admissions will be conducted at institutions on July 26, 2025. Candidates can apply for the last round of lateral admission to BE, BTech, and BPharm courses on tgecetd.nic.in.
For participation in the TGECET spot round, it is not mandatory to have an entrance exam score, but preference will be given to candidates who have qualified TG ECET 2025 . If vacancies remain, they will be filled by non-TGECET applicants who have scored a minimum of 44.5% marks during their diploma or Bachelor of Science (BSc) studies.
All diploma holders will be considered first for lateral entry to Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) courses via TGECET counselling. Candidates who have a BSc degree with mathematics as a subject will be considered for the remaining seats. Admission to 85% of the seats is reserved for local residents of ‘OU Area’.

TGECET 2025: Spot round fees
On the TGECET 2025 portal, candidates need to enter their user ID, password and centre code to log in. The processing fee for TGECET-qualified candidates is Rs 1,300, and the fee for non-qualified candidates is Rs 2,100. Tuition fee reimbursement option is not available to candidates selected during the spot round.
All candidates have to bring original copies of their certificates during the TS ECET final phase. Photocopies of all documents and the original transfer certificate is to be submitted at the time of admission. Given below is the complete list of certificates to be produced.
- Diploma or BSc original certificate
- Marksheets of three years
- Study certificate
- TGECET 2025 rank card
- TGECET 2025 hall ticket
- Residence certificate
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
