TS Inter 1st, 2nd year English Practical Exams 2025: Passing marks

In English language practicals, the maximum marks are 20, with a minimum passing score of 7 for general stream students. For vocational stream students, the maximum marks are 10, and the minimum passing score is 3.

“The student cannot be declared as pass with a cumulative score of 8 marks in three test items (Test Item 1, Test Item 2, and Test Item 3) even if his total score exceeds the minimum passing marks,” the official guidelines read.

The guidelines further read that students need to complete all test items, as it is mandatory for a comprehensive evaluation. While the minimum passing marks may be 7 for general students, attempting all test items is crucial to demonstrate proficiency in all necessary skills. Missing the final test will be considered an incomplete assessment.
