TS Inter admission 2025-26 registration starts on May 1; 33.33% seats reserved for girls

NEW DELHI: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has announced that it will start the registrations for admission to two-year TS Intermediate course in general and vocational streams for the academic year 2025-26 from May 1.
The last date to register for the two years TS Intermediate course is May 31 and the board will commence the classes on June 2. The completion of admissions in the first phase will be done by June 30.
The board said that the provisional admission will be confirmed after students will submit their original SSC pass certificate and transfer certificate issued by the students’ previous school authorities.
Around 33.33% or 1/3rd of the total seats have been reserved for girls category wise where there are no separate colleges for them, the board said.

Here is the category-wise rule of reservation for admissions to two-year TS Intermediate courses.

The admissions to the TS Intermediate courses will be conducted based on GPA (Grade Point Average) and subject-wise grade point (GP) or marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
There will be no test for admission to the SSC courses. Students, who are willing to seek admission to private aided, unaided, social welfare, tribal welfare, BC welfare, KGBV, minority, model school, junior colleges and government junior colleges in Telangana have to submit their aadhaar number also.
In addition, the admission into additional sections will be made only after the permission is issued by the Telangana board.
