Join Careers360 PremiumNEW DELHI: The Telangana School Education Department has announced the results of the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) 2024 today, February 5. Candidates who appeared for the eligibility test can download the TS TET 2024 results through the official website — tgtet2024.aptonline.in/tgtet/.
Candidates can use their login credentials such as application number and password followed by captcha code to download the TS TET 2024 result. The examination authority has also issued the TS TET 2024 final answer keys along with the result.
A total of 1,35,802 appeared for the exam, of which, 42,834 qualified the exam with a pass percentage of 31.21%, India TV reported. Along with the results, the exam authority has published the final answer keys.
The Telangana TET qualifying certificates for appointment remains valid for life time. The board released the TS TET 2025 answer key on January 24 and closed the objection facility on January 27.
TS TET 2024 passing marks
Candidates belonging to general category need score 60 per cent or above marks to qualify the exam. OBC category candidates need 50 per cent or more, and SC, ST, and differently abled candidates need 40 per cent or above.
The exam consisted of two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. While Paper 1 is for positions in classes 1 to 5, the second paper or Paper 2 is for those who want to be teachers in classes 6 to 8. Both papers had 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Candidates were awarded one mark for every correct answer. There was no negative marking for incorrect answers.
The department conducted the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test from 2 January to 20 January at various centres across the state. The first shift was held from 9 am to 11:30 am, whereas the second shift started from 2 pm and ended at 4:30 pm.
