Common fellowship portal for PhD, post-doctoral students
In March 2024, the central government introduced a common fellowship portal for PhD and post-doctoral students. The portal hosts application forms for UGC, Indian Council of Medical Research and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). A notable feature of the portal is its eligibility calculator, enabling candidates to assess their eligibility for different fellowship schemes. According to the website, the portal aims to eliminate the information gap for students by centralizing details on eligibility criteria and application processes across multiple fellowship programs.
