NEW DELHI: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has extended the schemes such as the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), coaching, fellowship, and other schemes till March 31, 2024.

The following UGC schemes have been extended:
a) Equal opportunity centre for colleges
a) Remedial coaching for SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer) and minority community students
b) Coaching classes for entry into services for SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer) and minority community students
c) Coaching for national eligibility test for state eligibility test for SC, ST, OBC (non creamy layer) and minority students
a) Higher education for Persons With Special Needs (HEPSN)
b) Financial assistance to visually-disabled teachers
a) BSR faculty fellowship
b) Emeritus fellowship
c) Fellowship for superannuated faculty members
d) Research award
e) Mid-career award
f) Research grant for in-service faculty members
g) Startup grant
h) Dr DS Kothari research grant for newly recruited faculty members
a) Dr DS Kothari Post-Doctoral Fellowship
b) Dr S Radhakrishnan Post Doctoral Fellowship in Humanities and Social Sciences
c) Post-doctoral fellowship for SC, ST
d) Post Doctoral Fellowship for Women
e) Dr S Radhakrishnan Post-Doctoral Fellowship
a) Swami Vivekanand fellowship for single girl child for research in social sciences
b) Savitribai Jyotirao Phule fellowship for single girl child
