UGC NET December 2022: Last date to apply today; subject list, exam pattern

UGC NET 2022 admit card will be released by the NTA in the second week of February 2023 on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2022) December application process today, January 17, 2023. Candidates will be able to apply for the UGC NET December 2022 exam on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
UGC NET 2022 admit card will be released by the NTA in the second week of February 2023. Applicants who submit the UGC NET 2022 application form before the deadline will be able to pay fees by January 18, 2023. As per the schedule, the UGC NET exam 2022 will be held from February 21 to March 10, 2023.
The NTA has announced that the upper age limit for UGC NET Dec 2022 JRF is not more than 30 years as on December 1, 2022 instead of February 1, 2023.
UGC NET exam pattern
The exam is held to determine the eligibility criteria for assistant professor as well as Junior Research Fellowship and assistant professor in Indian universities and colleges. The exam will have two papers for a duration of 3 hours in online mode. Candidates must note that there will be no negative marking.
