UGC NET June 2024 exam begins tomorrow; admit card, reporting time

UGC NET 2024 admit card has been issued for August 21, 22 and 23 exam dates on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024 exam from tomorrow, August 21. The UGC NET June 2024 exam will be held in two shifts: the first shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon, and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.

The UGC NET 2024 admit cards have been issued for August 21, 22 and 23, 2024 exam dates at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The admit cards from August 24 to September 4 will be issued shortly. Candidates appearing for the exam will be able to download the UGC NET June 2024 admit card by using their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth.
The UGC NET June 2024 admit card is a mandatory document for the examination day. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam without their hall tickets.
UGC NET 2024 August 26 exam postponed
The commission has postponed UGC NET 2024 August 26 exam on account of Krishna Janmashtami. The exam will now be administered on August 27. The UGC NET June 2024 session exam will be held till September 4.
NTA has also uploaded the UGC NET June 2024 exam city slip on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The UGC NET 2024 City slip will have the information for the allotment of the city where the examination centre will be located, to facilitate the candidates.
UGC NET 2024 reporting time
The candidates shall report at the examination centre two hours before the commencement of the examination so as to complete the frisking and registration formalities well before time. Registration desk will be closed 30 minutes prior to the examination.
The UGC NET June 2024 exam is held for:
- Award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor
- Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD
- Admission to PhD only.
