Download NowThe Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has alerted students and parents about possible cyber fraud linked to the 2026 High School and Intermediate answer sheet scrutiny process. The board released a public notice on X stating that fraudsters may try to contact students by pretending to be board officials and offering to increase marks in exchange for money.
As per the notice, cyber criminals may approach students through phone calls, messages or emails and claim they can influence marks or help in the scrutiny process. UPMSP clarified that it never contacts students personally regarding marks improvement or payments.
The notice advised students and guardians to stay cautious and avoid sharing personal information with unknown people. Candidates have been specifically asked not to disclose details such as roll numbers, bank account information or OTPs to anyone claiming to be connected with the board.
The UP Board also warned that strict legal action would be taken against those involved in such fraud. The board said cyber criminals would be identified with the help of Uttar Pradesh Police and action would be taken under the IT Act and provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

About UP Board Scrutiny 2026
The scrutiny process is conducted for students who are not satisfied with their marks and want their answer sheets to be rechecked. During scrutiny, the board verifies whether all answers have been evaluated properly, marks have been totalled correctly and no answer has been left unchecked. However, it is not a fresh evaluation of the answer sheet. Students can expect scrutiny results in June 2026, although the board has not yet announced an official date. The board declared the UP Class 10 and Class 12 board result on April 23, 2026.
