UPPSC APS result 2023 declared at uppsc.up.nic.in; 5,889 candidates qualified for next stage

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has declared the Additional Private Secretary (APS) result 2024. Candidates who have appeared for UPSC APS written exam 2023 can access and download the admit card on its official website, uppsc.up.nic.in. A total of 5,889 candidates qualified for the next stage.
The UPPSC has announced 331 vacancies for the APS post. The UPSC APS recruitment exam 2023 was conducted on January 7, 2024. The UPPSC APS selection process includes- written test, Hindi shorthand and typewriting, and computer practical examination.
The UPPSC APS 2023 paper was divided into 3 sections- general knowledge, hindi language, and computer. The UPPSC APS 2023 carried a total of 150 questions with each section comprising 50 questions. The duration of the exam was 3 hours. Candidates received 1 mark for each correct answer and there was no negative marking for incorrect answers.
The next stage is shorthand test, candidates require a pace of 80 words per minute in 5 minutes for dictation and a transcription time of 60 minutes. In the typewriting test, candidates must be able to type 25 words per minute in 5 minutes.
