UPPSC increases Provincial Civil Service 2025 vacancies to 920 ahead of prelims result

Candidates will be able to check the UPPSC PCS 2025 prelims result soon on the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in.
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has increased the Provincial Civil Service (PCS) 2025 vacancies to 920 across various state, upper subordinate services examinations. Now more candidates will be able to qualify for the mains exam on the basis of preliminary scores.
Earlier, the vacancy for UPPSC PCS 2025 was 200, which has now increased to more than 4 times. This revision in the number of posts may also have a slight impact on the cut-offs for the pre examinations.
The UPPSC PCS 2025 prelims was conducted on October 12, where 42.50 per cent of the total 6,26,287 registered candidates appeared. The commission has not yet announced the date for preliminary results. Candidates will be able to check the prelim results through the official website at uppsc.up.nic.in.
Last year, the UPPSC increased the vacancies for PCS 2024 exam to 946 from 220, while a similar action was taken in 2018 when the commission moved the number of posts from 900 to 988.
