UPSC EPFO recruitment exam 2025 registration to close tomorrow for 230 vacancies

UPSC to conduct exam for the roles of assistant provident fund commissioner, enforcement officer, and accounts officer.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) registration period for recruitment at the Employee Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) will end tomorrow. Interested candidates can apply for the examination on the official website, upsconline.nic.in.
The UPSC will conduct a pen-and-paper Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) to shortlist candidates for the posts of assistant provident fund commissioner, enforcement officer, and accounts officer. The shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews. A total of 156 aspirants will be selected for the roles of enforcement officers and accounts officers, while 74 people will be selected as assistant PF commissioners.
The UPSC EPFO application form can be filled out by candidates who are citizens of either India, Nepal, or Bhutan. The applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. For the post of assistant PF commissioner, a diploma in company law, labour laws, or public administration is desirable.

UPSC EPFO: Salary
Those selected as enforcement officers or accounts officers via the UPSC EPFO recruitment exam will receive a salary level 8 as per government norms. Assistant PF commissioners will receive a salary level 10.
The UPSC EPFO recruitment exam will have multiple-choice questions spanning two hours. Every incorrect answer will lead to a deduction of one-third mark. The syllabus of the test will consist of the following topics:
- General English
- Indian culture, heritage and freedom movements
- Developmental issues and trends in Indian economy
- Constitution of India
- General science and computer applications
- Elementary mathematics, statistics and mental ability
- Industrial relations, labour laws and social security in India
- Accounting, auditing and insurance
- Current affairs
