NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission has issued a notice in which it has said that the candidates who will be appearing for the UPSC civil service prelims exam 2021 and the Indian Forest Service, they will get an opportunity to revise the choice of UPSC IAS exam centre from July 12 to Jul 19, 2021 and from July 26th to July 30th, 2021.
In wake of the large number of candidates who will be applying for the UPSC 2021 exam, the commission has also stated that conduct the exam at four additional test centres which are:
Almora, Uttarakhand
Srinagar, Uttarakhand
Nasik, Maharashtra
Surat, Gujarat

Candidates will have to login onto the official website of upsc.nic.in to make changes in the trest centre for the UPSC IAS. However, the commission will take into account their request for change in the exam centre based on first come and first serve basis.
If the seats are filled at a particular UPSC IAS test centre, then in such a case the same will be frozen and it will not be visible to the candidate. The candidate will have to choose the test centre from the remaining ones.
The UPSC IAS selection process comprises three stages. In the first stage, the candidate will have to appear in the preliminary exam and those who clear the prelims, they would have to appear in the mains. Candidates who clear the first two stages, that is civil services prelims and mains both, will have to appear in the interview. The final selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of the performance of the candidate in mains and interview stage.
