Download EBookThe Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will declare the UPSC prelims results 2026 soon for over 5.01 lakh candidates. The UPSC pre results 2026 will be announced on the official website at upsc.gov.in. Those who appeared for the competitive examination, held on May 24, will be able to check their prelims scorecard using their application number and other login details.

UPSC aspirants will also be able to download the UPSC prelims scorecard 2026 by visiting the website upsconline.nic.in.
The OMR-based UPSC prelims examination 2026 was conducted in two shifts across 2,073 centres across the country. The examination was held to fill a total of 933 posts in the organisation. The commission issued the UPSC prelims answer key on May 28 and the results are expected to be declared by June 15, as per media reports.

Those who will qualify the UPSC prelims examination 2026, have to mandatorily login to the official portal and update their details and submit the application form to get the e-admit card.
The UPSC prelims question paper consisted of two papers. One was objective type, including multiple choice questions, whereas the other carried a maximum of 400 marks in the subjects set out in sub-section.

- Go to the official website at upsc.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the UPSC prelims result 2026 link.
- A new window will open.
- Enter login details.
- Click on the submit icon.
- UPSC Prelims result 2026 will appear on the screen.
- Check your score and download the results.
In 2025, around 9.5 lakh candidates had applied for the UPSC prelims examination, of which 5.8 lakh appeared.
