UPTET exam date 2021, admit card to be released again; Exam centres may change

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (UPTET) new exam date 2021 and UPTET admit card will be released again, as per various media reports. The UPTET 2021 exam scheduled to be held on November 28 was cancelled due to paper leak. Just after the exam began, the UP TET question paper went viral on several WhatsApp groups in Mathura, Ghaziabad and Bulandshahr.
Candidates will have to download the fresh UPTET admit card 2021 before appearing for the exam, as new dates will be announced soon. As per UPTET latest news, the exam centres in some districts will also be changed. A meeting was held in this regard by the government on Tuesday, which was also attended by secretary Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi.
“Efforts are also being made to replace unaided schools with state and aided secondary schools, CBSE and ICSE schools, degree colleges and universities,” the reports said. New UTET question paper will also be prepared by subject experts.
However, the officials also opined that it is not possible to conduct UTET exam in December and that it can be held after the second week of January.
UPTET Paper Leak 2021
Approximately 20 lakhs candidates had registered for the UPTET 2021 exam. The UPTET 2021 exam was scheduled to be conducted at several exam centres across 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
The UTET exam timings were 10 AM to 12:30 PM for paper 1 and UPTET 2021 paper 2 was scheduled from 2:30 PM to 5 PM.
On December 1, a demand was made in the Rajya Sabha to set up a special investigation team (SIT) to probe the UTET paper leak case.

Rai Anup Prasad, a resident of Delhi, director of the company which printed question papers of the UPTET has been arrested. The accused had ignored the confidentiality and security parameters while printing of the question papers, following which the question paper got leaked and the exam had to be cancelled, the Special Task Force of the police said.
“Chief Minister Yogi Adiyanath has directed to impose the National Security Act, 1980; strict proceedings will be undertaken against those found guilty. STF is investigating, and around 24 people have been arrested. Exam will be conducted in December, UP Basic Education Minister Satish Dwivedi said on UPTET paper leak.
