NEW DELHI: The Vellore Institute of Technology will close the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2025 registration window on March 31. The VITEEE 2025 registration form can be filled by visiting the official website, viteee.vit.ac.in. The VITEEE 2025 registration commenced in November 2024.

The VITEEE 2025 Exam dates have been announced. The VITEEE 2025 exam will be held from April 20 to 27. The VITEEE 2025 result date is April 30. The VITEEE 2025 counselling process is scheduled in May. Last year, the VITEEE result was declared on May 3.
Seat allotment will depend on VITEEE 2025 rank and availability. As per the official website, candidates with a rank up to 1 lakh are eligible for counseling at all four campuses: VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT-AP, and VIT Bhopal. Those ranked above 1 lakh can apply only to VIT-AP and VIT-Bhopal.
Provisional admission granted during VITEEE counseling remains valid only if eligibility criteria are met. VIT will again verify candidates' eligibility after the tuition fee is paid within the deadline. Required documents will be required to be submitted upon reporting to the campus.
VITEEE 2025: Eligibility criteria
The VITEEE 2025 eligibility criteria are as follows
- Candidates are required to be a resident, non-resident Indian national or PIO holder.
- Candidates' date of birth shall fall on or after July 1, 2003.
- Candidates are required to have studied physics, chemistry, and mathematics in Class 12.
- General category candidates are required to have scored an aggregate of 60% score in physics, chemistry and mathematics or biology in Class 12.
- Reserved category candidates are required to have secured an aggregate of 50% in Class 12.

VITEEE 2025: Exam pattern
The VITEEE 2025 will be held in online mode. The duration of VITEEE 2025 is 2 hours 30 minutes. The medium of the paper will be English. The VITEEE 2025 exam will include a total of 125 questions. There will be 5 sections. Maths or biology, physics, chemistry, English and aptitude. The VITEEE 2025 exam carries a total of 125 marks. Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
