XAT 2024 mock test on October 28; apply by October 25 at xatonline.in

NEW DELHI: The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) has announced that it will conduct the XAT mock test on October 28. Candidates who will have completed the XAT 2024 application process by October 25 will be able to appear for the mock test on the official website, xatonline.in.

The exam authority said the XAT mock test has been designed to replicate the actual examination to ensure candidates are well-prepared for the challenges that call for planning and adaptive thinking.

This XAT 2024 will have five sections that are divided in three parts. The first part consists of verbal and logical ability, decision-making, quantitative ability and data interpretation. Candidates have to attempt this part in 175 minutes. The second part, for which five minutes are allotted, consists of keyboard testing. In the third part, students have to attempt questions regarding essay writing and general awareness in 30 minutes. The candidates will be allotted 210 minutes (3.5 hours) to complete the exam.

“The mock test mirrors the XAT exam. It offers candidates an opportunity to familiarise with the examination format and enables them to self-assess their preparation,” the exam authority said.

The XAT team with the help of the previous year's toppers have also organised a webinar to discuss the strategies to crack the examination.

The XAT is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur across the country for admissions to its various MBA and PGDM programmes. Apart from XLRI and other XAMI member colleges, over 160 B-schools accept XAT scores for admission to their post-graduate management programmes.

XAT 2024: How to register

Candidates can follow these steps to register for XAT2024:

• Visit the official website of XAT 2024 -- xatonline.in
• Click on ‘register’ and creating an account by entering the email ID
• Login using the system-generated registration ID
• On the next tab, enter the details required and submit required documents
• Submit the XAT 2024 application form and pay the fee.
