AAU Admission 2024: Assam Agricultural University extends registration deadline to June 6
AAU Admission 2024: Students who have registered but not submitted academic details should complete the registration by June 6. Application form at admission.aau.ac.in.

NEW DELHI: Assam Agricultural University (AAU) has extended the registration deadline for admission into undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes to June 6. The university said that the last date to submit academic details by students who have submitted the application form but who are awaiting results is also June 6. The AAU application form has been hosted on the official website, admission.aau.ac.in.
AAU admission 2024 application process includes three steps - registration in university admission portal, fill up the application form online, and upload all relevant documents, and pay the required application fee using payment gateway
The degree programmes offered by the faculty of agriculture are as follows
- BSc (Hons)Agriculture of 8 semesters
- MSc Agriculture of 4 semesters
- MTech Agricultural Engineering of 4 semesters
- MTech Food Technology of 4 semesters
- MSc Agricultural Biotechnology of 4 semesters
- MBA Agri-Business of 4 semesters
- PhD in Agriculture of 6 semesters
AAU 2024 registration
Applicants will have to enter a valid email address and mobile number to register. After registering, a confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address. Sign-in using the credentials generated and proceed to fill the application form.
They will have to fill in personal and academic details in the application form and upload a recent photograph and signature each with a maximum size of 100KB in JPEG format. While uploading the required documents, candidates should note that it is in PDF files with a maximum size of 150KB each.
AAU Application 2024: Documents required
Candidates are required to upload the scanned copies of the following documents.
- Class 10 mark sheets
- Class 12 passing certificate.
- Age proof certificate. Birth certificate or Class 10 admit card will be considered valid.
- Caste certificate
- Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) or nativity certificate
- Medical fitness certificate in AAU format
- Gap certificate from the competent authority, if applicable
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate
- Migration or transfer certificate
- International or NRI candidates have to upload their passport along with all the blank pages
- Valid visa and passport of the financial sponsor of NRI sponsored candidate, if applicable
- International candidates have to upload their financial resource documents
- Sponsorship letter from the registrar of AAU for the in-service candidate, if applicable
- NRI-status certificate of the financial sponsor issued by the Embassy of the respective country under their seal for NRI/NRI sponsored candidate
- Valid NRI bank account passbook or account statement of the financial sponsor for NRI/NRI sponsored candidate
- Undertaking by the sponsor of the NRI-sponsored candidate in the form of an Affidavit.
