AICTE Approval Process 2024: Application deadline for course approvals extended till February 7
Technical institutions can apply for approval of courses till February 7 without penalty and till February 14 with a penalty.

NEW DELHI: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has extended the last date for the approval process 2024-25 till February 7, 2024 without penalty. The new and existing technical institutions or universities will be able to apply for approval with penalty by February 14.
The council informed that there is no change in last date with respect to institutions offering or intend to offer BBA, BMS and BCA programmes. The last date for such institutions is February 26, 2024. Moreover, for existing or new technical institutions or universities going to offer BBA, BMS and BCA courses, the last date is February 7, 2024 without penalty and February 14, 2024 with penalty.

AICTE had invited applications from all new and existing institutions seeking approval to offer courses in engineering and technology, town planning, design, management, computer applications, hotel management and catering technology (HMCT), and applied arts and crafts. The applications were also invited from universities intending to offer computer applications and management courses and those offering these courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in online or Online and Distance Learning (ODL) mode.
AICTE informed that all new institutions will have to register on the NSW portal and the registered application will be redirected to AICTE web portal. A unique USER ID with password will be allotted to each new application on payment of Rs 6,000.
