AIIMS Jodhpur launches executive program in public health policy, leadership, management

NEW DELHI: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jodhpur has invited applications for admission to the executive programme in Public Health Policy, Leadership & Management for January 2022 academic session. Interested candidates can apply for the programme on or before November 30.
The 6-month Executive Programme in Public Health Policy, Leadership & Management, is designed for mid-career and senior level (more than 5 years of work experience) working professionals who aspire to augment their leadership and management skills while still within their workplace, the official notice said.

AIIMS Jodhpur offers 15 seats for Indian nationals (Medical: 8, Non-Medical: 7) and 5 seats are reserved for foreign candidates, whose application has to be routed through ministry of external affairs. In case of non-availability of suitable candidates in one category, seats may be filled from another category, the notice read.
AIIMS Jodhpur admission 2022: Eligibility
Candidates fulling the following criteria are eligible to apply for the course.
1) Educational Qualication/s:
A) Medical: MBBS/BDS/ AYUSH (Alternative System of Medicine in India)
B) Non-Medical:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Veterinary Sciences, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Engineering with minimum of 55% marks

Any other graduate degree with minimum of 60% marks
2) Other essential criteria:

Minimum 5 years of work experience preferably experience of working in health care settings.

Should have no-objection certicate (NOC) from the employer/sponsoring organization.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their statement of purpose, curriculum vitae and called for personal and web-based interview. Applicants will be offered admission based on the merit.

- Session will start on January 15, 2022
The programme offers a unique opportunity for in service candidates to complete the course by participation in two weeks contact sessions and 22 weeks supervised online interactive sessions.
The contact classes will be held at campus of AIIMS Jodhpur. These weeklong contact classes will be scheduled at the beginning and at the end of the course.
Overall, the course will be delivered through lectures, tutorials, presentations, guided reading, seminars, eldwork and research project.
Working professionals sponsored from state and central organizations, as well as for those working in private organizations from diverse sectors including health and social services, community organizations, Education, Clinical Research, Medicine, and Pharmaceutical companies can also apply for the course.
