NEW DELHI, JUNE 12: Amity University, Noida, concluded its two-week long summer school programme that witnessed the participation of over 435 students from across the country. The summer school is aimed at helping students between classes IX and XII make informed career decisions.
The students, through this platform, gained knowledge and familiarized themselves with their preferred programme in higher education amongst a wide array of courses such as management, science and technology, mass communication, fine arts, fashion, interior design, law, tourism, hospitality, foreign language and physical education.
The program provided the participants with holistic knowledge on their preferred subjects along with extra-curricular and recreational activities like yoga, personality development, and sports activities like shooting, squash, tennis, football, horse riding, etc.
The two-week program had been an amazing learning experience as it helped me understand the nuances of the course by providing hands-on training, said Anisha Krishnan, a participant who had opted for English Communication and Journalism course.
This was the 13th edition of the programme and witnessed the highest number of participation since its inception. The students were handed over course completion certificates at the concluding ceremony.
