APPSC AEE 2019 Prelims Exam Begins on February 17; Check Details Here

NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 17: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is conducting APPSC AEE 2019 prelims exam on February 17, 2019. The exam is being conducted offline.
APPSC AEE prelims is a screening test. It is being held as the number of candidates who applied for the recruitment exam have exceeded 25,000. The test is only qualifying in nature. Candidates securing the qualifying marks in the exam stage will be selected for mains.
The prelims exam carry 150 objective type questions and the question paper is bifurcated into Part A and B. Part A contains questions from General Studies & Mental Ability while Part B consist of questions from Civil & Mechanical Engineering (Common)/Electrical Engineering. The test is being conducted for total 150 marks. The standard of questions asked in the examination is similar to that of graduation level.
The Commission had issued the admit card of prelims on February 8. Candidates had to enter user ID and mobile number to download the admit card.
It was mandatory for candidates to carry a copy of the hall ticket. Candidates were also required to carry any one photo ID proof like Aadhaar card, Passport, PAN card, Voter ID card, driving license, Government employee ID, etc. for verification. Candidates unable to produce a copy of the admit card along with valid photo-identity proof were not allowed to enter the examination hall.
APPSC AEE exam is being conducted to recruit candidates as Assistant Executive Engineers in various departments of Civil and Mechanical Engineering Services including PH and ME, Tribal Welfare, Water Resources, Panchayat Raj, Ground Water of Andhra Pradesh. The Commission has announced total 309 vacancies for the recruitment exam.
