Australian education minister promises to streamline student visa process for Indians

Dharmendra Pradhan spoke about collaborations between both countries in terms of skill development, education, and imparting skilling.
NEW DELHI: Australian minister of education Jason Clare has assured to resolve the issues related to visas for Indian students enrolled in universities and educational institutions in Australia during a discussion with the Union education and skill development and entrepreneurship minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Pradhan welcomed this progressive step.
During the meeting, Pradhan spoke about collaborations between both India and Australia in terms of skill development, higher education and school education sector, and imparting world-class skilling to the Indian workforce creating a positive synergy for both countries. Pradhan also briefed Clare on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and talked about the internationalisation in education. He further congratulated Clare on the assumption of his portfolio under the new Labour Party govt.

"I briefed H.E.
