Bharti Institute of Public Policy, CBC launch 2 online courses at iGOT platform
ISB’s BIPP and Capacity Building Commission launched "Evidence in Public Policy" and "Insights from Data for Policy”.

NEW DELHI: The Bharti Institute of Public Policy (BIPP) at the Indian School of Business (ISB) has launched two online programmes "Evidence in Public Policy" and "Insights from Data for Policy" with the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) of the Government of India.
The online programmes will be available on the iGOT platform and are launched under the Mission Karmayogi initiative.
The new online programmes aim to upgrade the expertise in public policy of senior government officials. They will help the officials by strengthening their understanding of data analysis and evidence-based decision-making. Additionally, the online programmes will equip the policymakers with all the necessary tools for better results.

The programmes were launched by Hemang Jani, secretary of the Capacity Building Commission, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India. The event was attended by Himansu Pandey, programme manager at CBC, and Ashwini Chhatre, executive director of the Bharti Institute of Public Policy, ISB.
Jani said, “We are pleased to launch these two courses on public policy in collaboration with the Bharti Institute of Public Policy as the understanding of Data and Evidence is essential for policymakers. I am sure these courses will be beneficial for all policy practitioners.”

“These courses intend to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of public policies with the goal of improving its outcomes for citizens,” said Ashwini Chhatre, executive director of Bharti Institute of Public Policy, ISB.
The institute also said that it is planning to introduce long and short-duration public policy programmes on the iGOT platform in the near future. The intended programmes will provide government officials with an in-depth understanding of the fields of public policy.
