BHU launches 22 SWAYAM courses; classes begin from January 20

NEW DELHI : Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has launched 22 SWAYAM courses for the January 2025 session. The duration of the online courses varies from one month to three months. The classes are set to commence from January 20, 2025. Students can enrol for the programmes for free by visiting the official website, swayam.gov.in.
The courses will be offered in several fields including Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), finance and law, agriculture, tourism, culture studies, machine learning, and life skills among others. The exams for these courses will be held in April next year.
BHU SWAYAM coordinator Ashutosh Mohan, coordinator said that the set of courses has been carefully developed by the university faculty, focusing on both modern and traditional academic areas. The duration of these courses range from four to 12 weeks, and they cater to students, professionals, and lifelong learners alike, he added.
