Bihar board begins registration for BSEB Sakshamta 5th Phase 2026 for local body teachers

Local body teachers, who were unable to take part in the BSEB Sakshamta 4th phase exam can also register for the phase 5 through the official portal.

Subscribe NowThe Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has started the online registrations for the BSEB Sakshamta Pariksha phase 5, 2026 for recruitment of teachers of local bodies.Teachers across primary, middle, secondary, and higher secondary schools across the state can apply for the phase 5 exam through the official website at bsebsakshamta.com.
Those who were unable to take part in the previous BSEB Sakshamta examination can also register for the phase 5 tests through the official portal.
A total of 4,932 teachers qualified the 4th edition of the competency test 2025 . The computer-based test will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes.

BSEB Sakshamta 5th Phase: Eligibility, passing marks
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must be teachers at local body schools in Bihar. The competency test will assess teachers on their knowledge of education and professional qualifications.
As per the passing criteria, general category candidates need 40% marks, Backward Class (BC) required to score 36.5%, and the qualifying marks for Extremely Backward Class (EBC) are 34%.
Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Differently abled, and female teachers need to score 32% to be declared pass in the Sakshamta 5th results 2025.
The CTT 5th exam 2025 will include 150 objective questions from all classes and subjects. It will also comprise 30 questions in the language part, 40 in the general studies section, and 80 in related subjects, the board said.
