Bihar board inter exam 2025 dress code changes; shoes, socks not allowed from February 6

Download EBookNEW DELHI: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has issued new dress code guidelines for students appearing for Class 12 board exams 2025. As per the revised guidelines, the board has prohibited students from wearing shoes and socks in the Bihar Class 12 exams 2025. The new BSEB dress code will be followed in the exams scheduled to be held from February 6 to 15, 2025.
"It is hereby notified that in view of the improvement in the weather, it will be strictly prohibited for the candidates to wear shoes and socks in the examination hall for the Intermediate Annual Examination, 2025 to be held from 06.02.2025 to 15.02.2025, otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall", BSEB said.
In past years, the BSEB strictly prohibited students from wearing shoes and socks inside Bihar Board 12th exam halls as per its regulations. However, considering the cold weather, the board decided to ease this restriction during the Bihar Board Inter exam 2025.
After the improvement in the weather, the board has banned students from wearing shoes and socks in the examinations scheduled from February 6 to 15.
Seven students expelled from Intermediate exam, three arrested
A total of seven students have been expelled on Tuesday after they were found cheating in BSEB inter exams 2025.
In this, two candidates from Muzaffarpur, two from Nawada and three from Madhepura have been expelled. Three people were arrested for cheating in the examination.
BSEB Inter Exams 2025: Question papers in 10 sets
As per BSEB, CCTV cameras and video recording devices will be installed at all centers, with one surveillance officer for every 500 candidates to monitor the process.
Students were provided with data based answer book and data based OMR based answer sheet printed with photo, name and other details to answer the questions. Also the question papers were provided to the students in 10 sets: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J.
Bihar Board Exams 2025: Paper held in 1,677 centres
On the second day of the Intermediate examination, the board conducted the examination at 1,677 centres in the state on Tuesday. 152 model examination centres for girls , with all female staff, including inspectors, police and magistrates have been set up to ensure a smooth experience.
The board conducted the Mathematics examination in the first shift, while the Political Science examination was conducted in the second shift. A total of 12,92,313 students are appearing for BSEB Class 12 exams 2025.
To ensure a fair, transparent, and malpractice-free Bihar Board Class 12 exams 2025, the BSEB has implemented multiple security measures at all centers, including a two-level frisking process, three-tier magistrate deployment, CCTV surveillance, and strict entry protocols. As per BSEB 2025 Inter date sheet 2025, English (ISc, ICom), Hindi (voc, IA) exams are scheduled to be held on February 6.
