BITS Pilani has opened applications for the International Students Admission (ISA) Scheme 2026, inviting international students holding non-Indian passports to apply for its undergraduate engineering, science and technology programmes across the Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses.
Registration for ISA 2026 opened on December 12, 2025 at bitsadmission.com and will close at 5:00 PM IST on April 5, 2026, the institute said. Admissions under the scheme will be evaluated through SAT scores.
Applicants will be allowed to review and edit their submitted applications during a correction window from April 13 to April 15, 2026.
The application process requires a valid mobile number and email address, along with documents including a recent passport-size photograph, proof of citizenship or passport, signature and Grade 12 marks sheet.
BITS focus on global classrooms
The institute said that the students admitted through the ISA Scheme will be part of an academic ecosystem that combines classroom learning with hands-on projects, research exposure and entrepreneurial opportunities.
“The programme is designed to provide a holistic educational experience that blends academic depth with real-world relevance”, an official press release added.

BITS Pilani said that limited merit-based tuition fee support may be available for eligible students in the first semester, in line with institutional norms. Details regarding such financial support will be communicated to selected candidates at the time of admission.
Announcing the admissions, V. Ramgopal Rao, group vice-chancellor of BITS Pilani, said the International Students Admission Scheme is central to the institute’s global vision.
“The scheme is key to building globally connected classrooms, where international students actively contribute to academic dialogue, research culture and the spirit of innovation,” he said, adding that the institute looks forward to welcoming students from across the world into an environment that values merit, curiosity and impact.
