BSE OTET 2021 registration begins; Check steps to apply, important dates

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has issued an official notification that announced the release of the OTET 2021 application form.
NEW DELHI - The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has begun the registration process for Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) in online mode. Candidates can pay the application fee till March 8 and the form can be filled till March 9. Before proceeding to fill the OTET application form, candidates are required to check the eligibility criteria and the documents that need to be uploaded while filling the application.
The OTET exam is conducted for those who are aspiring to become teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in private aided, schools of the state government, private aided schools. Those who wish to become teachers in private un-aided schools, they would have the option to appear for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).

How to fill OTET 2021 application form

First click on the official website of OTET

Now click on the OTET 2021 "Application" link

A new page will be exhibited on the screen

Now click on the tab "New Registration for paper 1" and "New Registration for paper 2"

Candidates can choose the paper for which they want to register

Again a new page will open where candidates will have to fill the OTET 2021 registration details such as name, password, email address and mobile number and then click on the submit button.

Once the candidate has registered, he or she will be directed to the login page

Candidate will now have to enter the one time password and after clicking on the verify button, candidate will be directed to the OTET application form page

Now candidates will have to provide information under the following sections
(a)Personal Information
(b) Eligibility Criteria
(c) Educational Qualification
(d) Address
(e) Information Sheet
(f) Payment and Declaration
After the completion of the application form, click on the section “Information Sheet” and all the information that has been provided will be displayed on the screen along with the image of the candidate.
Candidates can now take the print out of the information sheet and ensure that all the information provided in the form is correct. If there is any mistake in the information provided in the OTET application form, then the candidates can make the correction. However, no change will be allowed to be made in the OTET 2021 application form after the final submission.
