CBSE has introduced CCTV policy in board exams starting this year. The board is allowing students from disaffiliated schools to write the exams from the same school. In a surprise inspection, 21 schools were found violating the rules and were later stripped of their affiliation.
There is no reduction in CBSE Class 10, 12 syllabus 2025 and open book exams are not being held this year.

Bhargavi Satam, a student from Mumbai Public School Poonam Nagar, shared that the CBSE Class 10 English paper 2025 was much easier than expected. Bhargavi found the reading comprehension section simple and grammar section straightforward. While some tricky questions appeared in the literature section, she managed them well. Overall, Bhargavi felt the paper was simpler compared to her practice sessions and previous years' papers.
An English teacher from KV Munirka stated that the CBSE Class 10 English paper 2025 was easy, and questions were from the syllabus. She further said, "CBSE had informed that papers will be based on a new pattern of competency and the English paper was also competency based. Overall, whatever we had prepared the students for, the questions came accordingly."
Pratima Jha, HOD (English) at Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad, told India Today that the CBSE Class 10 English paper 2025 was well-structured and covered memory recall, comprehension, and application-based questions. However, she pointed out issues that the CBSE Class 10 English paper 2025 had errors, ambiguous questions, and repetition.
The CBSE has confirmed that there is no syllabus reduction for Class 10 and 12 in board exams 2025. CBSE dismissed claims about a 15% syllabus cut and clarified that such reports were inaccurate.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, CBSE allowed students to appear for board exams in their own schools. However, this self-centre policy led to issues, including allegations of paper leaks and result manipulation in 2021 when the exams were conducted in two terms.
Teachers get the CBSE 2025 question papers only after the exam concludes. Once students leave the CBSE exam hall 2025, teachers will review the questions and share insights on the difficulty level, expected answers, and overall exam pattern.
Last year, the CBSE Class 10 results were declared on May 13. The CBSE Class 10 pass percentage stood at 93.60%.

As per TOI report, a dispute arose before the CBSE board exams 2025 between parents and the administration of Apeejay School, Saket, and Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park regarding CBSE 2025 admit cards. Parents alleged that the schools have increased fees and withheld CBSE admit cards 2025 for Class 10, 12 students due to pending dues. After intervention from the Department of Education (DoE) and the Child Welfare Committee, the schools issued the CBSE admit cards 2025 but parents had to sign an undertaking regarding pending fees.
The CBSE board exam 2025 for both Classes 10, 12 is being conducted in a single shift. As per the date sheet, CBSE board exam 2025 will be held from 9:30 pm to 1:30 pm.

The CBSE has started conducting the English (Language and Literature) and English (Communicative) for Class 10 students and Entrepreneurship exam for Class 12. The exam will be held from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm today.
The CBSE will commence the Class 10, 12 board exam 2025 from 10.30 am today for over 42 lakh students. The CBSE board exam 2025 for each subject last for three hours, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, for most of the 10th, 12th subjects.
The entry gate for CBSE board exam 2025 has been closed. As per CBSE Class 10 board exam instructions 2025, no students will be allowed to enter after 10 am. The CBSE board exam 2025 for Class 10, 12 will begin at 10:30 am.
As per the CBSE verification process 2025, students will be required to pay Rs 500 per subject. The outcome will be available only in their CBSE login account and no individual notification will be sent. As per CBSE, if there is a change in marks an initial update will be provided, followed by the final revised marks after re-calculations. The board also mentions that only those students who apply for CBSE marks verification process will be eligible to request photocopy of their answer sheet.
As per CBSE Class 10 board exam instructions 2025, students are required to be in their school uniform and black school shoes. Students should not wear any heavy metallic jewellery or put mehendi, nail paints.
