CBSE has issued clear instructions for the persons in charge of the exam centres as well as for students and their parents. The board introduced CCTV policy this year mandating all schools fixed as exam centres to have the facility.
As per the board, a dummy student is not allowed to appear for CBSE board exam 2025. A CBSE student who has secured 100 percentile in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2025 session 1 reportedly enrolled into a dummy school, the board chairperson said to have read in a news report, and clarified that candidates without proper attendance are not eligible to write the annual exams.
CBSE, which has been strict in terms of compliance of examination bye-laws also found dummy teachers in schools during surprise inspections and warned such educators, while instructing the teachers on duty for the CBSE 10th, 12th board exams 2025.
The Unfair Means rules have been updated, covering use of mobile phones inside the examination hall and spreading of rumours on social media, the board said during a webinar. CBSE exam controller Sanyam Bharadwaj suggested approaching the board in case of any issue, instead of posting the problem on social media. “In case of any issue, going to social media is not the solution. Going to the CBSE website and uploading the request on the channel is the solution,” he said during a webinar.
For smooth conduct of the theory exams starting tomorrow, CBSE has issued the following instructions for students to avoid cancellation of exams:
Sanyam Bhardwaj, CBSE examination controller, said: “No where eligibility is checked in competitive examination at the time of submission of application form. It is only after selection, the exam conducting authorities check the eligibility. It is clearly mentioned in the bulletin issued by the NTA that either certificate or mark sheet should be uploaded. So candidates can upload Class 10 mark sheet.”
