The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to begin the CBSE Class 10 term 1 exam for major subjects from today, November 30, 2021. Students will appear for the social science paper on the first day of CBSE Class 10 term 1 examination in an offline mode.

CBSE term 1 exam for major subjects will commence from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. CBSE Class 10 term 1 question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with a duration of 90 minutes. The CBSE term 1 board exam for Class 10 will conclude on December 11, 2021. While CBSE Class 12 exam for major subjects will commence from December 1, 2021.

CBSE term 1 Class 10 exams : Know exam guidelines and other details

CBSE 10th exam will start at 11:30 am. Students must reach the exam centre at least an hour before the reporting time to avoid last minute hassle.

Students must remember to carry their Class 10 admit card to the exam hall as without it, they will not be allowed to sit for the exam.

It is important to follow COVID-19 safety protocols. Students must wear masks, use sanitisers and maintain social distancing during the examination.

Students will be given extra 20 minutes of reading time, instead of 15 minutes.

They should fill their OMR sheet carefully and make sure all details are correct.

While answering the questions, students must use a blue or black ball-point pen to fill their response in the OMR sheet.

Use of electronic device during the board exams will not be allowed.
