There were not out of syllabus topics in CBSE Class 12 biology paper 2025. The CBSE Class 12 biology paper 2025 was conducted from 10:30 to 1:30 pm.
As per the CBSE Class 12 passing criteria for 2025, students are required to secure at least 33% marks overall to pass the board exams. Additionally, these students are required to score at least 33% individually in both practical and theory exams to qualify in the CBSE Class 12 exams 2025.
CBSE Class 12 Maths Exam Analysis 2025: Teachers’ feedback
As per Hema Malini PGT Biology at JAIN International Residential School (JIRS), Bengaluru, the CBSE Class 12 Biology paper was well-balanced, moderately difficult, and a fair assessment of the syllabus. Malini said that the CBSE Class 12 biology paper ensured equal representation of all units, maintained clarity, adhered strictly to the syllabus, and had an appropriate length, allowing students to manage time effectively.
‘Well balanced’
"Overall, the paper was a fair and balanced assessment of the syllabus. It tested students' understanding, application, and conceptual knowledge without being overly challenging. The equal weightage given to all units, the moderate difficulty level, the absence of out-of-syllabus questions, and the appropriate length made it a well-structured examination," said Malini.
‘Neither out of syllabus, nor lengthy’
The CBSE Class 12 Biology exam 2025 was of moderate to high difficulty, with all questions sourced from NCERT and none out of the syllabus, as per Swati Trivedi, PGT Biology at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Ghaziabad. As per Trivedi, in CBSE Class 12 biology exam 2025 MCQs were easy, while the assertion-reason questions were moderately challenging. Question 24 in Section C was slightly tricky, but the case-study questions in Section D were manageable for well-prepared students, as per the subject expert. Overall, the exam was not lengthy, allowing students to complete it on time, as per teachers.
CBSE Class 12 Maths Paper Analysis 2025: Students’ reactions
Ananya Sharma, student of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Ghaziabad, found the CBSE Class 12 exam 'easy', questions were similar to those from internal school exams. She emphasized that effective time management allowed her to complete the CBSE Class 12 biology paper comfortably and even review her answers.
Aleena, student of VidyaGyan School found section A ‘tricky’. Aleena felt that scoring good marks would be challenging. In contrast, Vartika from the same school found the exam ‘very good’ and was satisfied with her performance.

Rumors about the CBSE 2025 paper leak circulated on social media, but the board dismissed these claims calling them 'baseless.' Currently, there are no reports or speculations regarding the CBSE Class 12 biology paper leak 2025. Here is the pattern of CBSE Class 12 biology question paper 2025

The CBSE 12th exams 2025 are being conducted in 7,842 centres. A total of 17,88,165 students are expected to appear for CBSE Class 12 board exams. The CBSE Class 12 board exams 2025 will end on April 4. The CBSE Class 12 board exams 2026 will be conducted once a year, similar to current format. In CBSE Class 12 board exams 2026, around 20 lakh students are expected to appear. The CBSE Class 12 board exams 2026 are scheduled to be held from February 17 to April 4.
