Candidates who submitted the CTET 2026 application form can edit their form on the official website, ctet.nic.in, before June 18.

As per the schedule, the CTET 2026 exam will be conducted on September 6 in two sessions, with each paper lasting 2 hours and 30 minutes. The first session will be held from 9:30 am to 12 noon, while the second session will take place from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. The CBSE has also set aside September 5 as a reserve day for the CTET 2026 examination .
Once the CTET application correction window is closed, candidates will not be allowed to edit the CTET 2026 application form.

As per last year's trend, the CBSE board is expected to issue the CTET admit card 2026 in the first week of September, likely on September 3.
This year, CTET has included Maithili and several other languages as options for candidates. The CTET paper will be held in 27 different languages from the September 2026 session onwards.
CTET Application Form 2026: What can be edited?
Candidates can make corrections to the following details in the CTET 2026 application.
- Candidate name
- Father’s and mother’s names
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Address
- Phone and email ID
- Category
- Name of the institution, college, or university from which the applicant studied.
- Paper selected (ie, Paper I or Paper II, subject to availability of capacity in a particular city), subject to Paper II, language I and/or II opted.
The board said that candidates will not be allowed to change their exam city choices, as exam centres will be allotted randomly.

How to edit CTET application form?
Candidates can follow the steps below to make changes to their CBSE CTET registration form.
- Visit the official CTET website, ctet.nic.in.
- Click on the "CTET Feb 2026: Online Corrections" link.
- Log in using your application number and password.
- Your submitted application form will appear on the screen.
- Make the required changes in the editable fields.
- Check all the details carefully and submit the corrected form.
CTET is a national-level exam conducted for candidates who want to become teachers for Classes 1 to 8. The exam is accepted by central government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan schools, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti schools, and other institutions that consider CTET scores for teacher recruitment.
