NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct CBSE Term 1 Class 12 History exam tomorrow, December 20. CBSE term 1 exam 2021-22 for Class 12 History paper will be held for 90 minutes. Students can find the CBSE 12 sample paper 2021-22 here to practice the Class 12 history multiple-choice questions.

CBSE Class 12 History question paper 2021 will have multiple-choice questions (MCQ) including case-based MCQs, MCQs on the assertion-reasoning type and two map-based questions.

CBSE Class 12 History question paper will be divided into four sections – A, B, C and D. As per the CBSE term 1 Class 12 exam pattern, Section A contains 24 questions and students have to attempt any 20 questions. In Section B, there will be 22 questions out of which students have to attempt any 18 questions. Section C contains two case-based questions with 12 questions and they have to attempt any 10 questions. While in Section D, questions 59 and 60 are map-based questions, of which both the questions have to be attempted.

CBSE Class 12 students must note that all questions carry equal marks and there will be no negative marking.

CBSE has also scrapped its policy of correcting OMR sheets on the same day of the exam for the CBSE Class 12 term 1 exam from December 16. Instead, schools have to send the answer scripts to the board's regional office, the CBSE circular said.

CBSE has been conducting CBSE board exams for Class 10 and Class 12 in two terms due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The number of exam centres has been also increased twice the size to ensure the safety of students.
