NEW DELHI: The seat allotment result for the special round of the Centralized Counseling for MTech (CCMT) 2024 has been declared today, July 20. Candidates who participated in the special round can check the CCMT 2024 seat allotment by visiting the official website – ccmt.admissions.nic.in.
Candidates will be required to use their GATE 2024 registration ID, password and security pin to access the CCMT 2024 special round seat allotment. As per the counseling schedule, the last date for uploading the documents, specifying willingness to allotted seats, and withdrawal of seats is July 24.
Students will have to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 30,000 to confirm their admissions. The fee payment can be done through debit card, credit card, UPI or net banking.
If the candidate does not pay the seat acceptance fee, their seat allotment will be automatically canceled, and they will not be considered for further rounds of allotment. Only after paying the seat acceptance fee, candidates will be able to download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (PSAL), upload the required documents, and submit their willingness online.
CCMT Counselling 2024: Options after seat allotment
Candidates can opt for one of the options after the allotment of seat:
- Freeze: Candidates who are content with their assigned seats should use this option to secure their seats.
- Slide: If applicants desire a higher-ranked course within the same institute in subsequent allocation rounds, they should choose the sliding option.
- Float: Candidates who prefer to wait for seat assignments in higher-preference courses at different institutes should opt for the floating option.
