Happy Children’s Day 2021: PM Narendra Modi, VP Venkaiah Naidu, and several other ministers sent their wishes on Nehru’s birth anniversary.
NEW DELHI: Children’s Day 2021 is celebrated every year on November 14, the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, children’s favorite, to pay tribute to the first prime minister of India and enlighten the citizens about children’s rights making the country a better place for the kids. On this day, schools and educational institutions organise various activities such as children’s day drawing competition, dance performances, songs, children’s day speech, children’s day quiz, etc. Children doll up in fancy clothes and indulge in the activities.

Prime minister Narendra Modi, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and various chief ministers and education ministers paid their tributes to Nehru on his birth anniversary and wished Children’s Day, today.

“My tributes to the former Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his birth anniversary today. He will be always remembered for his contribution to building a modern India,” Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu wrote in a social media post.

Naidu also wished Children’s Day and said: “My greetings on Children's Day! Children must dream high and work hard to achieve their goals.
