CLAT 2022: Last month preparation tips to score well in national level law entrance exam

NEW DELHI: Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2022 conducted by Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU) will be held on June 19, 2022 from 2 pm to 4 p.m. With around a month's time left for the law entrance exam, it is essential that candidates keep their preparation on track.

The CLAT syllabus is very vast and consists of subjects like English language, current affairs, legal reasoning, logical reasoning and quantitative aptitude. Candidates to qualify the examination need to have a proper preparation strategy for all the subjects.

Here are some important tips for last month to crack the CLAT 2022 examination:

1. Attempt mock tests and sample papers to test your speed

Practicing sample papers and previous year’s question papers will familiarize you with the CLAT examination 2022. Candidates can get a good idea about the difficulty level as well as the types of questions asked in the examination.

Candidates should practice with the mock tests and sample papers in an exam-like condition. Set a timer of two hours and check how many questions you are able to attend within the stipulated time. This will help you analyze your preparation and also will let you know your strengths and weaknesses.

2. Pay attention to the CLAT syllabus and do revision regularly

Candidates should have clarity about the syllabus and section wise marks distribution. Candidates should do revision regularly for all important topics as when you do revision you brush up and recall all the already known facts that help sharpen your memory. Regular revision hones your skills so that they become second nature to you.

3. Increase the reading speed to improve accuracy

A major part of CLAT 2022 questions are passage based. An exceptionally good ability to read and comprehend passages will keep you ahead of all other candidates. A good reading speed and accuracy will determine a candidate’s ability to complete the test paper within the stipulated timeline. Hence, candidates should make a habit to read and attempt complex passages.

4. Keep yourself mentally Calm

Candidates should dedicate some time in meditation to save themselves from exam anxiety. They should just be determined to achieve the set goal and work towards it with utmost dedication. Candidates should also eliminate all distractions and focus only on CLAT preparation. If you get stuck with your preparation or feel demotivated it is best to take support from your peers or study group and try to rejuvenate yourself.
