Ranka alleged vehicle vandalism; demands arrests within 48 hours

CJP co-convenor Ashutosh Ranka alleged that he and other party volunteers were assaulted while they were visiting a government school in Rampura-Kanwarpura village for an inspection. Ranka told PTI, the school had been operating from a buffalo shed for several years and said CJP volunteers had also inspected the site last year.

While talking to PTI, he further explained, “Before we could reach the site for the inspection, their people, BJP goons, were already there. Our volunteers were assaulted first. All the media persons were present there. The police were informed, but even after we reached the spot, they did not stop. Vehicle windows were smashed, phones were broken, a woman was assaulted, my shirt was torn, and one of our team members suffered a fractured hand.”

Ranka demanded the arrest of those responsible within 48 hours and called for the order, warning of a statewide agitation if his demands were not met. He also said the proposed protest would seek Rajasthan education minister Madan Dilawar's resignation, calling the incident “a black day in Rajasthan's democratic history."

Villagers reject CJP support, oppose politicisation

As per TOI report, a villager said the community did not want the school issue to be turned into a political matter, noting that Rs 2 lakh has already been approved for the construction work. The villagers said local residents were capable of taking up the construction themselves and did not require assistance from the CJP .

The villager also expressed opposition to the CJP and its views, alleging that the party had spoken about dividing the country and made objectionable remarks about LOrd Ram. The village said the community wanted individuals who would work for the country rather than support such political positions, as per TOI report.
