NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has started online classes for the students through WhatsApp groups. The online classes have started on April 20, 2020, for the new academic year 2020-21. The decision was taken to resume the studies of students which has been adversely affecting due to the lockdown. The entire nation is facing a complete lockdown since the last week of March. The schools have been shut completely due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. Lakhs of students will get benefited through the online classes.

The Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dinesh Sharma has tweeted regarding the same and said, “Study will become easier in this lockdown through WhatsApp groups”.

Highlights of UP Board Online classes

Teachers and students will be connected through WhatsApp and classes will be conducted there only.

Madhyamik Siksha Vibhag has created the blockwise WhatsApp group to ensure effective and timely communication.

Teachers can download the NCERT Books from the official website of NCERT. Subject related videos are also available at DIKSHA portal.

The study material, PPT, PDF’s and Video lectures will be provided via these WhatsApp groups only.

Teachers need to send the content on WhatsApp groups and the next day they have to be available in the scheduled time to resolve the queries.

Parents can also join the group and connect with teachers.
In a recent notice, UP Board warns about agents offering promotion for money . These agents were introducing themselves as an employee of UP Board and are asking for money in return of promotion of the students to the next class.
