Try NowThe Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has declared the seat allotment result for the second round of CSAB Special and DASA counselling 2025. Candidates can check the CSAB round 2 seat allotment 2025 on the official website, csab.nic.in.

Students will be required to use JEE Main application number and password to download the “initial seat allotment intimation slip”.
As per the DASA, CSAB Special counselling 2025 schedule, aspirants can submit willingness for seat upgradation and do online reporting between August 14 and 16. The last date for resolution of payment issues and queries is August 18.
CSAB Counselling 2025: Choices for candidates
The online reporting comprises the following steps:
- The candidate needs to exercise the willingness against the allocated seat by opting any one of the options including ‘Freeze’, ‘Slide’, ‘Float’, ‘Surrender’, or, ‘Withdraw’.
- Candidates who go with the willingness option of Freeze/Slide/Float are required to upload the necessary documents on their CSAB 2025 portal.
- Candidates must pay the fee of Rs 35,000 (for general, general-EWS, OBC) and Rs 16,000 (for SC,ST, PwD) for continuing with the CSAB Special seat allocation process.
The officials will verify the uploaded documents. At the time of document verification, if the document verifying officer raises any query, the candidate must respond in online mode (through candidate portal) within the stipulated time.
CSAB Special rounds are conducted to fill the vacant engineering and architecture seats in the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Engineering
Science and Technology (IIEST), Schools of Planning and Architecture (SPAs), central or a state government funded technical institutions (GFTIs) after the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) rounds.
Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) is held for admissions of foreign nationals / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) / Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) / Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) in these institutes.
