Candidates appearing for the exam can download the CTET admit card 2024 from the official website, ctet.nic.in. For the December 2024 session, the CTET exam contains two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is for candidates who wish to teach Classes 1 to 5, while Paper II is for those aspiring to teach Classes 6 to 8.
CTET exam 2024 is being conducted in an offline (pen-and-paper) mode and the question paper consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the CTET exam every year to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in central government schools, such as Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, and others.

CTET December 2024: Exam-day instructions
Candidates are advised to read the following instructions about OMR sheets and responses.
- The code ( A, B, C, or D) printed on the OMR sheet will match the code on the test booklet.
- The OMR sheet is specially designed for scanning by an optical scanner. Ensure that the OMR sheet is not folded and avoid making any stray marks on it. The roll number should only be written in the specified space on the OMR sheet.

On the front side of the OMR Sheet, the following details should be filled neatly and accurately using a ball point pen (black or blue), pencil is strictly prohibited:

Subject Offered for Paper-II (only if applicable) -
On the reverse side of the OMR sheet, the following details must also be filled:

Main Test Booklet Number

Language in which you have answered the questions
Candidate’s Signature - The candidate is not allowed to do any rough work on the OMR sheet. All rough work is to be done on the space provided in the test booklet.
- The candidate must carefully review their answer and ensure its accuracy before darkening the corresponding circle. Once marked, no changes are allowed. The use of erasers, white-out, or correction fluid on the OMR sheet is prohibited, as the OMR sheets are machine-gradable. Any such alterations may lead to incorrect evaluation.
- Before submitting the answer sheet at the end of the exam, the candidate must sign the attendance sheet as proof of their participation. The candidate is allowed to retain the test booklet only after the exam has concluded.
- If an OMR Sheet is missing for any candidate during the evaluation process, it will be assumed that the candidate has taken the answer sheet along with the test booklet. In such cases, the candidate's result will be canceled.
