Delhi govt to develop ‘world-class government school hub’ spread over 11.63 acres
Delhi school hub will soon be built in Kadipur, in which all the world-class facilities related to sports will also be present, Manish Sisodia said.

New Delhi: The Delhi government announced that it is developing the country's most advanced government school hub in the national capital spread over 11.63 acres. This world-class school will soon be built for the children living in and around Kadipur, in which all the world-class facilities related to sports will be present along with the education of children, an official statement said.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the design of the building of this school will be prepared keeping in mind the overall development of the children. This school building will be different from the normal schools and the entire school premises would be involved in the learning process of the children, he said.

The school would advance sports along with learning to provide holistic education to students. The step taken by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led government is to make Delhi's education system world-class by building a school that will be fully equipped with all modern facilities, the official statement read.
School hub in Delhi: What would the school look like?
“This school hub, designed keeping in mind the specialization of STEM and Humanities, will have separate building blocks for both the specialisations. A magnificent Olympic size swimming pool complex will also be built in the school hub,” Delhi government in its statement said.
- Along with 240 classrooms, 13 labs equipped with all modern technologies and resources will be set up in which 8 labs will be for STEM specialized and 5 labs for Humanities Specialized School.
- Four libraries will also be prepared here for primary and senior secondary classes.
- One auditorium with a capacity of 1,000 people will also be constructed in the school.
- World-class swimming pool to be prepared in the school premises for future Olympians
The school will have an Olympic size swimming pool complex, in which heating and cooling facilities will be present. The length of the swimming pool will be 50 meters and width will be 25 meters to allow maximum children to practice swimming at the same time, it said.
