Dharmendra Pradhan, Manohar Lal Khattar dedicated 124 PM-Shri schools to Haryana
The Union education minister and Haryana chief minister launched the Accreditation of Schools app and Mobile Application (NIPUN) today.

NEW DELHI: Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan along with chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar dedicated 124 PM Shri schools to Haryana. These schools will have ICT labs and smart classrooms also.
Haryana school education minister Kanwar Pal, senior officials, dignitaries and eminent academicians also graced the event.
The ministers also launched the Accreditation of the Schools app and Mobile Application (NIPUN). Books and Learning Materials for Balvatika-3rd were also unveiled during the occasion.
The event briefed about PM Shri schools, E-Adhigam and MIS platform and showcased Online Transfer Policy and Foundational Literacy and Numeracy - Nipun Haryana Mission. The ministers visited the exhibition on PM Shri School programme and the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) during the launch event.
Speaking at the event, Pradhan said: “Today is a 'historic day' towards ensuring a bright future for the children of Haryana through advanced and quality education by bringing NEP to the ground.”
“PM-Shri Schools will be a symbol of excellence with 21st century modern education based on skill-based, people-life-culture and mother tongue,” he said, adding that the school will increase the potential of school education in Haryana.
On the occasion, he also lauded the state government’s various initiatives and reforms to make sure the school education in the state is vibrant. He also highlighted that the NEP 2020 has played a vital role in formulating the growth of students in every aspect of their curriculum.
