NEW DELHI: The Delhi University has published the DU UG CSAS 2024 first allocation list today, August 16, 2024. Candidates who have registered themselves for phase 1 admissions will be able to download the DU UG CSAS first allotment list 2024 by visiting the official websites, du.ac.in and admission.uod.ac.in.
According to an official press release from Delhi University, the university will be admitting students to approximately 71,600 seats (excluding supernumerary seats) across 69 colleges, departments, and centers this year. Admissions will be carried out across 1,559 different programmes and college combinations.
DU UG CSAS 2024 First Allotment: Acceptance deadline
As per the official schedule, candidates are required to accept the DU UG CSAS 2024 allocated seat by August 18, 4:59 pm. Colleges will verify and approve the online applications from August 16 to August 20, 2024. As per the DU UG 2024 CSAS schedule, the fee payment deadline for first allocation is August 21, 4:59 pm.
The Delhi University press release read, “As per the records, 2,45,287 candidates had applied for Phase-I of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS(UG)), out of which 1,85,543 applicants had completed Phase-II of CSAS by submitting their preferences for Program + College Combinations. The total number of preferences that the University received was 1,72,18,187.”

DU UG Admission 2024: Revised tie-breaking rule for rank generation
As per the official notice, candidates with the same programme-specific CUET scores may have different ranks, as the common Rank is determined by applying tie-breaking rules. Additionally, ranks will not be generated for performance-based programs (BA (Hons) Music, BSc [PE, HE and S], BFA) or for certain supernumerary quotas (Sports, ECA, CW, and ward). Candidates can have a look at the revised tie-breaking rule for DU UG 2024 admission.
- The candidate with a higher percentage of aggregate marks in the best 3 subjects of Class 12 will be given preference.
- The candidate with a higher percentage of aggregate marks in the best 4 subjects of Class 12 will be given preference.
- The candidates with a higher percentage of aggregate marks in the best 5 subjects of Class 12 will be given preference.
- Age of the candidate; preference will be given to the candidate having an earlier date of birth (as mentioned in the Class 10 certificate).
- Alphabetical ordering of the names of the candidates.
