NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the admit card for the Graduate Aptitude Test - Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2025 today, April 17. Candidates who registered for the exam will be able to download the GAT-B admit card 2025 through the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/DBT.
Candidates will have to enter their application number and date of birth to log in and download their GAT-B 2025 admit card. The GAT-B 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on April 20 in a single shift from 10 am to 1 pm.
“Admit Cards for the examination are hosted on the NTA website https://www.nta.ac.in/ or https://dbt2025.ntaonline.in/. Candidates can download their respective Admit Cards from website using their Application Form Number and Date of Birth,” the official notice said.
The GAT-B admit card 2025 contains essential details, including the candidate's name, exam centre, exam name, photograph, reporting time, and signature. If there is any discrepancy in the candidate's particulars, photograph, or signature on the admit card or confirmation page, the candidate should contact the help line between 10 am and 5 pm.
“In such cases, candidates would appear in the Examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later,” the information bulletin said.
How to download GAT-B admit card 2025?
Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the GAT-B admit card 2025.
- Visit the official website: exams.nta.ac.in/DBT
- On the home page, click on the "GAT-B 2025: Click Here to Download Admit Card" link
- Now, enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin
- The GAT-B 2025 admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download the GAT-B 2025 admit card and take a printout.

GAT-B Admit Card 2025: Exam pattern
The GAT-B Exam 2025 will be conducted in an online mode, following a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. Candidates will have 3 hours to complete the examination. The test is divided into two sections, Part A and Part B, each having distinct question patterns and marking schemes.
Part A consists of 60 compulsory multiple-choice questions. For each correct answer, candidates will receive 1 mark. However, there is a negative marking system in place where a 0.5 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.
Part B comprises 100 multiple-choice questions, from which candidates need to attempt 60. Each correct answer 3 marks will be awarded. In case of an incorrect answer, a penalty of 1 mark will be applied.
